NAIFA is the only membership association for insurance and financial professionals with an active chapter in every state. The NAIFA-California chapter ties you into advocacy on legislative and regulatory issues in Sacramento that impact your business, your clients, and our industry. Your state chapter may offer professional development programming that qualifies for CE credit and also puts you in a network with peers who are close to home.

PROGRAMMING COMMITTEE 

The primary objective of the Programs Team is to know what’s going on in the industry and what’s coming around the corner and sharing this information by providing robust training programs for our members. Chapter programs are part of the larger educational programming offered by NAIFA. Relevant programming provides educational and networking experiences that empower members with more take-away strategies and tactics they can apply back at the office.

• Welcome Attendees at Events | Est. 4 hrs yearly
• Help Organize an Industry Program | Est. 10 hrs yearly
• Introduce a Speaker | Est. 0.25 hrs yearly
• Write Short Blog About a Recent Event | Est. 2 hrs yearly
• Take Pictures at Events | Est. 4 hrs yearly

MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS

• Sharing Content on Social Media | Est. 2 hrs monthly
• Liking Stories & Photos | Est. 1 hr yearly
• Proofreading Key Communications | Est. 1 hr yearly
• Update CE Courses | Est. 1 hr monthly
• Post Event Photos & Tag NAIFA Members | Est. 1.25 hrs weekly

Advocacy

• Send Legislative Thank You Letter | Est. 1 hr monthly
