Richard Dobson, Jr., Certified Financial Planner (CFP) entered the Financial Services Industry in June of 1980, and attended the University of Northern Iowa (BA Business- Marketing ‘81). NAIFA member since 1981. Mr. Dobson holds Iowa life and health licenses and is 6, 26, 27, 51, 63, and 65 FINRA series qualified.  Mr. Dobson is a frequent industry volunteer and speaker. He is the author of the book “Make Simplicity Your Superpower” -“Communication Hacks Every Financial Advisor Should Know” from Sound Wisdom.

John is an Executive Senior Partner here at Totus Wealth Management, LLC and Totus Insurance Agency, LLC. In his current role, John specializes in Advanced Planning & Design and Insurance Coordination & Design, as well as focusing on the growth and development of the firm as a whole. He supports the Totus community with educational seminars, advanced joint sales work, recruiting, and the development of our financial planning endeavors. What John most enjoys about his work with us is having the freedom and capabilities to design effective, personalized strategies to accomplish clients’ goals in a non-conflicted manner.

Ryan J. Pinney is a seven-year MDRT member with seven Top of the Table qualifications. Recognized for using innovative technologies to drive insurance sales, streamline the application process and speed up underwriting, Pinney leverages his experience in social media and online marketing to help agents and agencies create their online presence and profit from it. Utilizing the same principles and technology his firm provides to agents, his agency sold thousands of policies direct-to-consumer over the internet last year. Recently recognized by LifeHealthPro as one of the “24 Most Creative People in Insurance,” Pinney is a past president of NAIFA-Northern California and the U.S. Chairperson for the MDRT Member Communications Committee. He also serves on the Independent Advisor Task Force for NAIFA.
