Tom Kelly, Senior Regional Vice President
As Senior Regional Vice President for Pacific Life, Tom travels throughout Northern and Central California working with financial professionals through a proactive, consultative approach.
As a certified wholesaling consultant, Tom has been three years earning this Pacific Life certification and mastering skills in the areas of public speaking, interviewing, referral strategies, and the sales process with the goal of bringing more value to financial professionals.
Tom brings a wide range of experience to his role at Pacific Life. Using his extensive background in variable annuities and mutual funds, Tom delivers proven business-building seminars, continuing education training, as well as product and industry training for all levels of producers that consistently deliver results. He is known by his passion for the business, his high principles of trust and integrity, and for sharing proven skills and ideas that go far beyond the product.
Tom and his family reside in Mountain House, California. Tom enjoys playing guitar and spending time with his family. He is an avid sports fan who enjoys golf, football, hockey, and mixed martial arts.
Ryan Smith, CFA
Mr. Smith works closely with the portfolio management and analyst teams for the fixed-income, equity, and multi-asset strategies offered through Pacific Funds. He is responsible for representing the investment philosophy, process and portfolio positioning from each investment team. Prior to joining Pacific Funds, Mr. Smith acted as client portfolio manager and sat on the investment committee for Pacific Life Fund Advisors, a multi-asset subsidiary of Pacific Life overseeing $37 billion invested across domestic and international equity, fixed income, and alternative asset classes. He joined Pacific Life in 2015 and brings 12 years of industry experience.
Prior to joining Pacific Life, Mr. Smith was Senior Regional Business Consultant for Curian Capital where he was responsible for business development and advisor education relating to capital markets and asset allocation. Mr. Smith received a BA in Philosophy from Indiana University and is a CFA Charterholder.
