On April 29, NAIFA-California Leadership brought our members Impact Hour, offering the updates you need with the content you want to navigate through COVID-19 and beyond.  This was also chance to virtually catch up on all of the latest happenings since the shelter in place order took effect.  Members of the state board were joined by California Lobbyist Shari McHugh, NAIFA Vice President of Government Relations, Diane Boyle and California's own President Elect, Tom Michel.

The board decided that since we were unable to come together for Day on the Hill in addition to gathering across the state for the Road Show, Impact Hour was an opportunity to  bring our members together, share the latest information and resources available to our members.  During COVID-19, NAIFA has been able to provide members with ample virtual opportunities from the monthly NAIFA Live program to Town Hall meetings to the launch of Impact Week May 19-21.

California's Impact Hour serves as the first step in the Power Pyramid. Earlier this year, NAIFA-California rolled out the Power Pyramid member recognition program. Members would work to achieve the Power Pyramid by attending four cornerstone events: Day on the Hill, Congressional Conference, California Annual Conference and P+P in Boston.  We have amended the criteria to now include California Impact Hour and NAIFA Impact Week.  When you watch the recording, you can still earn your first piece of the pyramid, so register to catch what you missed during Impact Hour!
