NAIFA-California invites you to participate in our Virtual Day On the Hill! When is it? Monday, March 22nd through Thursday, March 25th

The NAIFA-California Day on the Hill (DOTH) is the key to NAIFA’s success in lobbying our state legislators. The individual relationships we build and nurture during this important event enable NAIFA-California to effectively lobby for regulations and legislation that WILL affect your practice. Due to COVID restrictions, the NAIFA-California Government Relations Committee has developed a robust VIRTUAL DAY ON THE HILL to make meaningful and safe connections with your legislators and their staff. This is a multi-day event and NAIFA-California members can build their events to suit their schedules!

Monday, March 22, 2021 @ 4-5 p.m.- NAIFA-California Legislative Briefing:

1. Hear from your State Lobbyist, Shari McHugh of McHugh Koepke & Associates, on issues we will be discussing with legislators, how to hold an effective meeting and making an impact where it matters.

2. Tune in for a special guest with an important message for NAIFA-California members.

3. This call will be recorded for members reference throughout the week.

Tuesday March 23rd-Thursday March 25th-Scheduled Virtual Legislator Meetings:

1. NAIFA-California will provide you with talking points and insights on how to be effective during your meeting with your local legislator. We just need you to be yourself…an engaged, caring and diligent NAIFA member looking out for you and your clients' interest!

2. When you register, you will have the option of scheduling your own meeting, or having NAIFA-California schedule for you! These virtual meetings will be scheduled for about 15-20 minutes with you and your state legislator(s).

Thursday, March 25, 2021 @ 4-5 p.m.- DOTH Debrief:

1. Join all of your fellow DOTH attendees for an informational debrief from the week’s activities. Hear from our lobbyist and state leaders on our impact and have some fun celebrating your success!

2. Don't forget about the PRIZES! All attendees will automatically receive a virtual raffle ticket to be entered into our NAIFA-California PAC Scavenger Hunt!
