Speaking of Delvin, he will kick off the conference with the opening keynote, "Sticktoitiveness."  Delvin Joyce, CLU, ChFC, RICP, is a Financial Planner with Prosperity Wealth Group, a full-service financial planning firm located in Charlotte, NC. Originally from Martinsville, Virginia, Delvin attended James Madison University, earning a B.A. in Business Marketing.

While at JMU he was a member of the football team and received multiple All-Conference and All-America honors while breaking several school and NCAA records. Shortly after leaving JMU, Delvin joined the New York Football Giants as an undrafted Free Agent in 2002 and made an immediate impact as the starting punt and kick returner. He retired from the NFL in 2005 and relocated to Charlotte, NC.

In his keynote, Delvin shares seven lessons that he learned through athletics that helped him to successfully transition into the financial services industry. Sticktoitiveness will provide insights on overcoming adversity, creating a personal brand, and goal setting. 

In July of 2017, Delvin founded Prosperity Wealth Group to help individuals and companies achieve their financial goals with a focus on community empowerment through financial literacy. He serves on the board for Youth Development Initiatives Inc, a Charlotte-based non-profit that provides support for disadvantaged youth. Delvin is a former NAIFA Board of Trustee also currently serves as NAIFA's Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Council co-chair and frequently advocates on behalf of the financial services industry.
